How do I schedule?
We will gladly help you schedule an appointment over the phone by calling 216-777-0345 (Lakewood) or 440-570-0664 (Westlake), or you can use our online booking system. Please note that we DO NOT book appointments through email or Facebook/Instagram messages. Due to the time sensitive nature of our business, we also DO NOT accept cancellations via email or social media messages. You must call the salon or cancel online if you need to cancel your appointment. A credit card is required upon booking to hold your appointment.
What if I'm a new client?
We are happy to welcome you to Stella and Shay Beauty Bar! Please allow a few minutes to park, especially at the Lakewood location as there is only street parking. If you've never been in, please stop in and say hi! We'd love to show you around!
How do I pay my beauty bar tab?
We accept plastic (Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express) and cash. No personal checks, please. We greatly appreciate your tips in cash.
Where do I park?
Please read signage if you choose to park in a lot. There are many lots that require a parking pass, and are NOT public parking. Stella & Shay does not have a parking lot and relies on street parking at the Lakewood location. There is un-metered parking along Detroit on both sides of the street. You can also park on neighboring side streets, including Maile and Phelps. At the Westlake location, you are welcome to park anywhere within the Williamsburg Square plaza parking lot.
Do you offer bridal or group packages?
We sure do! Please call us for information and pricing. We require a non-refundable deposit for wedding day bookings and group reservations over 4 people.
We require 24 hours notice when cancelling a reservation. Cancellations made within 6 business hours of time of service will result in a 50% service fee to your credit card on file. Appointments missed without prior notice or phone call will result in a 100% service fee. You will receive appointment reminders both 48 hours and 24 hours in advance, to help avoid any scheduling issues. If your stylist isn't coming in on your day of scheduled service due to illness, we will notify you as quickly as possible.
We do not offer refunds on any services or products. We offer exchanges on products that are unopened within 10 days of purchase date.
This bar doesn't have bouncers, but we do have the right to cut you off after 2 no-show appointments or late cancellations.
Late to the Party
We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are 15 minutes late. We try to accommodate everyone, but we try our best to stay on schedule for all of our clients.
All of our hair services have "starts at" pricing. If you would like to know the exact price of your service, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our stylists. Services are subject to price adjustment based on time, length of hair, and products used.
We require non-refundable deposits for the following bookings:
Wedding day services
Nail parties with more than 4 people
Brazilian Blow Outs
Any service over $150 that requires a phone booking
You love your children, we love your children, but please do not bring children to the salon unless they have their own individual reservation. We want you to relax along with the people around you. Let us give you some you time, you deserve it. Our kids pricing is for children 12 and under – sorry, no exceptions!
Please note that we are a natural nail salon, and do not service acrylic nails (this includes dip polish). Designer polish brands and French polish incurs an additional charge. Removal of gel that has been applied by another salon incurs an additional charge. Any nail fix outside of time frame listed below by type of service incurs an additional charge as follows:
Apres Nails: 1 week/$5 per nail
Gel Manicures / Gin & Gel: 1 week/$3 per nail
Gel Swap / Mini Bar Gel: 5 days/$3 per nail
Old Fashioned Mani: 3 days/$3 per nail
We require a non-refundable deposit for Brazilian Blow Outs and any service over $150 that requires a phone booking.
