  • Do you sell gift cards?

    Yes! We sell gift cards for both locations – you can purchase them in person at both salons, over the phone, or online. To purchase online, please click here. We are happy to ship your gift card to you or the recipient of your choice. Please note that we do not replace or honor lost or stolen gift cards.

  • What if I'm a new client?

    We are happy to welcome you to Stella & Shay Beauty Bar! Please allow a few minutes to park, especially at the Lakewood location as there is only street parking. If you are a new color client we highly suggest a consultation before your first appointment. If you've never been in, please stop in and say hi, we'd love to show you around!

  • How do I pay my beauty bar tab?

    We accept plastic (Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express) and cash. No personal checks, please. We greatly appreciate gratuity in cash.

  • How do I schedule?

    We are readily available to assist you in setting up an appointment via phone by dialing 216-777-0345 (Lakewood) or 440-570-0664 (Westlake), or alternatively, you may utilize our online booking system. It is important to note that we do not facilitate appointment bookings through email or social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram messages. Similarly, we do not accept appointment cancellations via email or social media channels in light of the time-sensitive nature of our business. If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact the salon directly or cancel through our online system. Furthermore, we kindly request that a credit card be provided during the booking process to secure your appointment. Without a credit card we are unable to reserve appointment times.

  • Where do I park at Lakewood?

    For the Lakewood establishment of Stella & Shay, it is imperative to rely on street parking as no parking lot is available. Ample unmetered parking can be found along both sides of Detroit Ave. Additionally, parking is available on adjacent side streets such as Maile and Phelps. Kindly observe and familiarize yourself with the signage if you opt to allocate your vehicle in a lot. Vehicles parked in private lots will be towed without notice. It is important to note that several lots necessitate the possession of a parking pass and are not accessible for public parking purposes. Please leave yourself enough time to find parking, clients who are 15 minutes late will be rescheduled and charged 50% fee for a late cancellation.

  • Where do I park at Westlake?

    At our Westlake location, guests are invited to park their vehicles in any available space within the Williamsburg Square plaza parking lot.

  • Hair Pricing

    All of our hair services are offered at a "starts at" price point. For accurate pricing information pertaining to your specific service, we kindly suggest scheduling a consultation with one of our esteemed stylists. Please note that the final cost of services may be adjusted accordingly based upon factors such as time required, hair length, and products utilized.

  • Nail Pricing

    All of our nail services are listed with their respective prices on our website. Artistic nail designs, structural nail enhancements, builder gels, double base coats, and French nail styles will incur an additional cost. It is important to note that we offer three levels of service, namely Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3, with pricing increases for each level.

  • Kids Policy

    We kindly request that you refrain from bringing children to the salon unless they have their own individual reservation, as we aim to provide a serene environment for all of our clients to relax and enjoy their visit. Allow us to offer you a moment of respite and self-indulgence, as you truly deserve it. Please note that our pricing for children is applicable to those who are 12 years old and under, and unfortunately, no exceptions can be made in this regard.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Since 2022, our cancellation policy has stayed consistent with same day cancellations resulting in a 50% charge. We do require a 24 hour notice when canceling however ANY cancellation made DAY OF APPOINTMENT will result in a 50% charge. No show appointments will be charged 100% of service fee. If you call during non business hours, we will use your time stamped voicemail as your time of cancellation. This makes it accessible for you to cancel during the weekends while we are closed.

  • No Show Policy

    We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who have failed to honor their appointments on two occasions or have provided late cancellations. To re-book no show charges must be paid in full to book another appointment.

  • Refunds

    We do not offer refunds on any completed services or products. We offer exchanges on products that are unopened within 10 days of purchase date.

  • No Shows

    This bar doesn't have bouncers, but we do have the right to cut you off after 2 no-show appointments or late cancellations.

  • Late to the Party

    We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are 15 minutes late. We try to accommodate everyone, but we try our best to stay on schedule for all of our clients.

    All of our hair services have "starts at" pricing. If you would like to know the exact price of your service, we recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our stylists. Services are subject to price adjustment based on time, length of hair, and products used.

  • Kids

    You love your children, we love your children, but please do not bring children to the salon unless they have their own individual reservation. We want you to relax along with the people around you. Let us give you some you time, you deserve it. Our kids pricing is for children 12 and under – sorry, no exceptions!

  • Nail Policies

    Please note that we are a natural nail salon, and do not service acrylic nails (this includes dip polish). French polish, structure gel and nail art incurs an additional charge. Removal of gel that has been applied by another salon incurs an additional charge. Any nail fix outside of time frame listed below by type of service incurs an additional charge as follows:

    Apres Gel Extensions: 1 week/$7 per nail

    Gel Manicures/Gin & Gel: 1 week/$3 per nail

    Gel Swap/Mini Bar Gel: 5 days/$3 per nail

    Old Fashioned Mani: 3 days/$3 per nail
