FAQ

  • How long will my lash lift last?

This lash lift treatment is there to curl your natural lashes and keep them curled for 4-6 weeks, depending on your individual hair growth cycle, lifestyle and aftercare.

The best way to enhance and compliment this procedure is to have your eye lashes tinted at the same time, thus creating more depth of color.

  • What should I expect from my lash lift treatment?

A relaxing, simple and pain free beauty procedure.

Allow up to 1 hour for your appointment.

  • Can I wear mascara with my lash lift or tint?

Yes, mascara will enhance your curled lashes for a more dramatic eye catching look.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Lash Lift

    Before Lash Lift

    • Remove contact lenses before your treatment.
    • Tell your therapist if you have an eye infection or irritation of the eye area - as treatment cannot be performed until this has cleared up.
    • Please remove all make-up on your lashes prior to your appointment.

    After Care for Lash Lift

    • Avoid rubbing your eyes.
    • Do not get the lashes wet or use product on them for 24 hours after treatment.
    • Remove eye makeup gently with non-oily remover.
    • Gently brush your lashes daily with a lash brush.
    • Use a mineral mascara with natural fibers for the best finish.

  • Lash Extensions

    Before Lash Extensions

    • Avoid any oil around your eyes 24–48 hours prior to lash application. This includes oil-based makeup remover, eye creams and sunscreen.
    • Please arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes. Mascara residue and oils need to be removed completely with a non-oil based makeup remover and mild cleanser. If your lashes are not clean we cannot ensure the extensions will last as makeup residue and oil on your lashes will not allow the adhesive to fully bond to the lash.
    • Remove contact lenses before your treatment.
    • We do not recommend the intake of caffeine or pre-workout before your lash appointment. The ingredients can cause your eyelids to flutter, making it difficult for your lash artist to apply the eyelash extensions.
    • It is recommended that you shower and wash your hair before your appointment. Your new lashes will not be able to get wet for at least 24 hours after application. This includes steam from the bathtub, rinsing off in the shower, working out and standing over boiling water (steam).

    After Care for Lash Extensions

    • Avoid water or moisture for the first 24 hours after lash application. Any type of moisture should be avoided – such as steam rooms, swimming, steam from the bathtub and working out. Think of it like getting your nails polished – nail polish can feel dry to the touch, but take 24 hours to completely ‘cure’ from the outside in.
    • Mascara is strictly prohibited. We take a lot of time + dedication to applying your fresh set of eyelash extensions. Mascara destroys the bond of the adhesive to your natural lash, which will cause a majority of your lashes to shed.
    • Brush you lashes daily. Lashes get may get tangled and twisted during sleep and as your natural lashes grow out. It is important to brush your lashes to keep them groomed. Once they get twisted and tangled – they will start to pull out your natural lash and may cause pain and discomfort.
    • Do not rub your eyes, tug, and pull or twist your lashes. You can damage your natural lashes and will have to wait until those lashes grow out again.
    • It is recommended for the longevity of your lashes that products used around your eyes be oil free. Oil breaks up the integrity of the lash adhesive and causes the extensions to peel and then fall off. Check your cleanser, face creams, eye makeup, sunscreen, makeup remover, etc.
